Locals witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Tomorrow was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity expected across various areas of both states.
